Your Mac.
From your Mac.

One client. Two Macs.

The remote desktop your Macs already know how to run.

The server side is already part of macOS. Orchard focuses on the controlling Mac: secure authentication, headless session selection, live HEVC video, and responsive input in one native app.

01

Enable Remote Management

Turn on Remote Management in macOS and choose which local users may connect.

02

Choose your Mac

Connect by hostname, IP address, or a Mac advertised on your local network.

03

Work in a live session

Control a separate headless desktop with native pointer, keyboard, and scrolling.

Built for the media path

Not a sequence of screenshots. A real video stream.

Orchard negotiates Apple's High Performance transport, authenticates every encrypted media packet, reassembles HEVC, and hands the stream to Apple's hardware decoder. The renderer stays focused on the newest frame while preserving the codec's reference chain.

  • Encrypted control and SRTP media
  • Hardware-backed HEVC decoding
  • Automatic keyframe recovery
  • Full-screen native viewer

Designed like a Mac app

Less setup. Less infrastructure. More desktop.

01

Client-only by design

No proprietary agent to install, update, or keep running on the Mac you want to reach.

02

Private by architecture

Orchard connects directly to the Mac you select. There is no Orchard relay, account, or session cloud.

03

Headless when needed

Create or resume a separate desktop session without taking over the local user's screen.

04

Diagnostics when useful

The interface stays focused on the desktop while detailed connection health remains available for support.
